Protect our Wetlands, Water and Woods Wildflower (POWWW) Hike In Jonathan’s Woods

When: Saturday May 19, 2018 at 9AM

Where: Hillcrest Drive Denville trailhead

Our annual wildflower hike will be led by naturalist Mike Leone

This will be a slow-paced hike with plenty of stops to look for native wildflowers in and out of bloom, we will also try to point out major tree and shrub species as well as any birds or animals we may encounter. Some of the trails we will explore may be steep with uneven footing so please wear sturdy shoes, dress in layers for the weather and bring water and a snack.

May 16th, 1955 28 children signed contracts with Disney to become cast members of the Mickey Mouse Club, also known as Mouseketeers.

Notice the original opening did not have mouse ear hats! They were created and designed by Disney Legend, Cast Member and Artist, Roy Williams, known as “Big Roy” in the Mickey Mouse Club. “Big Roy” designed and introduced the mouse ears worn by the mouseketeers and sold throughout Disney Parks to this day.

Did you know, in Hollywood Studios, in the Muppet 3D room of Muppet Vision, there is a display hanging from the ceiling of “a net, full of Jell-O”. This is a play on words to symbolize Annette Funicello!
