GREETINGS FELLOW ROCK-N-ROLL FANS!!!
I would like to introduce you to “Unsafe at Any Speed”. We are a three piece (guitar, bass and drum) retro/classic rock-n-roll cover band that plays a wide variety of music from the 1950s-1990s. The artists we cover range from American rock-n-roll founders (Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, and some other 50s artists), old style country (Johnny Cash, Buck Owens, Carl Perkins), The Beatles and the Stones, a few assorted rock tunes from the 70s-80s, a touch of grunge (Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam), and some 90s pop (Oasis, Foo Fighters).
We’ve played a number of small clubs/restaurants in Northern NJ, such as George and Martha’s in Morristown, Bergen Brick Oven in Hackensack, and the Black Horse Tavern in Mendham. We have also played some non-traditional gigs such as Eyewear by Evie (Optician) on a “First Friday” in Boonton, and a grand opening for Morris View Healthcare Center in Morris Township.
We are available for special events, private parties and any type of venue where a rock-n-roll cover band will lift everyone’s spirits! Don’t worry, we are high energy, but not necessarily high volume! We understand for as much as you may want to dance and sing, you may also want to converse with an old friend without screaming or going deaf!
