November 15: Lenape Life – Visit an authentic wigwam model in the forest, decorated to look like it’s lived in and discover how the Lenape Indians of NJ used nature to survive. Play the games Lenape children played, and even make one to take home!
December 13: Fascinating Forest at Great Swamp – It’s cold out there! How do the animals handle it? There are many different strategies and we will explore them all. We will even try to insulate tiny “frogs” and see if we can keep them warm in the dens we build.
