Get outside and active this winter, and experience the unique and exhilarating sport of snowshoeing! Enjoy a guided trek exploring the beautiful winter scenery and looking for signs of wildlife – all while getting a great workout. No experience is necessary. Please call in advance regarding conditions.
If you already know how to snowshoe or want to venture out on your own, various sizes, including children’s, are available for one-day rental and use at Pyramid Mountain NHA. You must be 18 years or older to rent shoes, and a photo ID or rental deposit of $10/pair per day by cash is required. Shoes can be rented between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., and must be returned by 4 pm the same day.

MKHS Hockey Routs Hillsborough 6-1; First State Championship since 2014

No. 2 seed Morris Knolls defeated No. 1 seed Hillsborough, 6-1, at the Prudential Center in Newark on March 4 to take home the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association Public A championship. After shaking off two penalties early in the game, senior Sean Murray hit the ice with focus and determination to lead the Golden Eagles to their first state championship since 2014.
