Diamond Spring Road curb and sidewalk work Thurs and Friday. Please obey No Parking signs. Some parking spaces may be unavailable.

 

 

 

As part of the paving project on Diamond Spring Road, the contractor will be performing curb, sidewalk and handicapped ramp construction tomorrow and Friday. As a result, some on street parking spaces may be unavailable on Dia Spring Rd btwn Broadway and Pocono Rd. for a period of time. We are asking motorists to please obey the temporary no parking signs and cones until the work can be completed. Milling and paving of Diamond Spring Rd will commence next week. Additional Nixle messages will be sent for that project..

I recently became aware of a concerning situation I needed to share.

Did you know if a food/restaurant business does not provide vehicles for their breakfast, luncheon, or dinner deliveries, requiring the person delivering to use their own car; then the driver of that vehicle may not be covered with their personal insurance? Some of these food establishments expected the employees/drivers to either clock out or sign a waiver protecting the business from liability. A call to several car insurance companies confirmed if no commercial insurance was in place, the driver’s personal insurance was void if the vehicle was used for food deliveries or during the course of business.

If you or your child takes a part time position delivering pizza or other foods for extra money; please check with your insurance companies first!
