Denville – Power Should be Restored to Cedar Lake and Beacon Hill Today

JCP&L Update. Cedar Lk, Beacon Hill, should be restored today. Crews heading today to Lake Arrowhead and Woodland Ave

Here is the most recent update from JCP&L for today. They have crews working on the pole on Morris Ave. Once completed that should restore Cedar Lake and Pinefield Manor Apts tonight. They are also working to restore the Beacon Hill neighborhood tonight.
They have crews en route to Lake Arrowhead and the Woodland Ave neighborhood on the south side of RT 46.
Additionally, they plan on working on Apple Tree Lane, Birch Run, Cedar Gate, Sleepy Hollow and Redwood Ave later today.
All of this information is from JCP&L and is subject to change depending upon how long each restoration takes.
Once again, we thank you for your patience and understanding as we work with JCP&L to restore all of Denville’s customers ASAP.

Denville – Controlled Power Outage

Controlled Power Outage – Area of Morris Avenue

JCP&L has alerted the Police Department that they need to conduct an emergent controlled power outage in the area of Morris Avenue in order to conduct repairs in the area. This power outage is expected to begin within the next 20 to 30 minutes and is anticipated to last until some time tomorrow. The outage is expected to affect approximately 500 customers in the Morris Avenue/Cedar Lake area.

As a result of this power outage and its impact on residents, the warming station established at Town Hall will now remain open throughout the night. Any residents without power and/or heat may respond to the Community Room at Town Hall to seek shelter for the duration of the outage.

Michael Dammann Eisner (born March 7, 1942) was Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company from 1984 until 2005. Michael Eisner was responsible for initiating “The Disney Decade”. This initiative made projects like: Euro Disney Resort (now Disneyland Paris), Disney-MGM Studios (now Disney’s Hollywood Studios), Disney’s California Adventure Park (now Disney California Adventure), Disney-MGM Studios Paris (eventually opened in 2002 as Walt Disney Studios Park), and various film projects including the Who Framed Roger Rabbit franchise.

JCP&L is planning a controlled power outage overnight, around midnight. The affected area will include neighborhoods south of Rt. 10.

The Township of Denville has been contacted by representatives from JCP&L regarding a potential controlled power outage. This outage, if executed, will affect neighborhoods south of Route 10 and is being planned to occur tonight, sometime after midnight.

The total amount of time that the power is expected to be out is between 3 and 4 hours.

Butterflies and Disney’s EPCOT International Flower and Garden Show

Not only are there Butterfly Gardens at Epcot; but some of the Disney Resort hotels, like the Contemporary, have their own butterfly gardens. The butterfly gardens are an essential part of the Epcot International Flower and Garden Show which is now running through May 28, 2018!
